Interenet access is not as available, so I will do a quick update. We are having such a sweet time with Hadassah. She is such a happy baby and quite a ham. She will fit right in with her brothers and sister. She had a rough start with us and screamed loudly for a couple of hours. But now we are best buds. She slept with her nanny ast night. I think that we'll leave her with her nanny again tonight for two reasons: a.) We don't want to make her any more confused than she already is. b.) Her nanny is having a hard time letting her go. She's loved her like a mother and I don't want to take the time away from her that she needs. The people in Ethiopia are absolutely precious. Those that care for the orphans have stolen my heart. The love and sacrafice that they give is breathtaking.
We went with 3 other families to court today and all passed except us. The judge said that they need to do one more thing before she can pass our case. But after meeting with our agency's attorney, we think that the document that the judge needs is already in place. So hopefully we'll have some answers very soon. It was VERY discouraging and quite crushing to hear the words, "we still need..."
We will update again if we can. We still can't share pictures, but know that soon we will!! Please pray for the document to be in place. That's our main concern right now. That and loving on that precious baby.
