Time With Cousins

The kids and I took the opportunity to visit family and spend a few days in the mountains. It's so nice to be able to hop in the car and see the family that we missed so much while in Florida.

My oldest brother was baptized last weekend, and we were blessed to be a part of that day and watch God's love pour out over Matt.

The next day, the kids and I left with my middle brother's wife and their kids for Ruidoso, NM. The weather was such a relief. And the kids played outside ALL DAY LONG!!!

They spotted deer. Josiah thought that if he acted like a deer, he could sneak up on them.

Olivia is finally old enough to be of interest to Addilyn. They had a blast together.

Isaac and Ryan both have pocket knives. Josiah does not, but he figured out a way to be a part of the group. Notice what he has in his hands in the background. I love that kid.

Ryan was upset with Isaac for accidentally hitting his finger. He took it personally. haha

We loaded the car with our little Indians and Indian princesses to head to town and buy bows and arrows.

Also, we think that the scratches on the tree stump are from a bear claw. We were on the look-out the whole time we were in the woods.

David showed up on Tuesday night and we told the kids bedtime stories of when we were kids. They loved it.

My birthday!

We had such a sweet, relaxed time. If only we could have brought the weather home with us...
