I Love My Husband

I'd like to think that I've made lots of good decisions in my life, but marrying Jay Wright is the best choice I've made and will most likely ever make.

Jay is one of the most sincere, devoted, caring people I've ever been around. In fact, right now he is outside playing with our kids and the neighborhood kids while I stay inside and do whatever I feel like doing...which happened to be taking his picture and talking about him.

He loves his kids and isn't afraid to show it and brag about them. He loves me and probably tells me I'm beautiful about 10 times a day (no kidding). He does dishes, laundry, vacuums, puts kids to bed...
He's always willing to give me a break even when he's had a long day.
He calls friends and keeps up with what is going on in their lives and really cares about them and prays for them.
He wants to get to know every.single.person.he.meets. He loves people.

He loves God.
He's always sitting quietly, making himself available to God. He prays for our family. He always strives to be better.

I seriously could go on and on. In fact, if I were to come across an "I Love My Husband" bumper sticker, I'd probably put it on our van. But he probably wouldn't let me because he doesn't like things like stickers on vans...it might be his only fault. :)

  1. You did marry a pretty special guy. I tear up thinking about David sometimes. I'm sure you can relate.

  2. We think Jay Wright is the best decision you ever made, too--except maybe to have babies. We think he's pretty special. But then...we think he's pretty lucky, too.
