We Are Here

After a two day drive, a stay in the house for 6 days without furniture, a day for the stuff to be unloaded before heading back out, a trip to NM to visit family, and a flight back, we are here. I love adventure. :)

We lived like this for a few days and grew pretty tired of it. We now appreciate our "stuff" more than ever.

Our first Sunday was this week and we felt beyond welcomed by everyone. The church goes out to dinner together every week after the service and this week was in our honor. They gave us a basket filled with gift cards to local restaurants that we definitely need to visit. And they had balloons that kept our kids well entertained, especially as they launched them off of our balcony one by one. Even I enjoyed watching them become specks.

I cannot begin to tell everyone how grateful and blessed we are to be a part of such a wonderful group of people at All Saints Church Dallas. God is really moving and has great plans for central Dallas. I have no idea why we get to be in the middle of it, but I'm not complaining one bit.

So, the boxes are unpacked, Jay has started work, we are getting the feel of living in a city, and life is going on. I'll definitely take pictures of the inside of our town house sometime for you people who like to drive by houses at night and look in windows. I might be one of those people.

Don't forget to add this web address to your blog list. I'm not stopping anytime soon!!!

Also, if you are a new reader, make yourself known. I've been told by many of you All Saints people that you read, so don't be shy. If you are an old reader who has gotten away with not leaving comments, I'm on to you. :)
